Softhouse in Luleå is growing rapidly – five new experts already onboard in 2025
Digitalization company Softhouse continues its strong expansion in Luleå. In just the first few months of the year, five new team members have joined the local office – a clear sign of both increasing demand and the company’s ambition to take an even stronger position in northern Sweden.
“There’s a lot of curiosity and demand for our expertise in digitalization and AI. It’s incredibly rewarding to welcome such experienced and skilled people to our team,” says David Granström, CEO of Softhouse Luleå.
The new team members are:
-
Andreas Bäärnhielm, Jakob Moe, and Mohammed Shakir – all system developers with diverse backgrounds and experience in modern software development.
-
Elin Bergström – Scrum Master and business developer with broad experience in digital transformation across different types of organizations.
-
Magnus Stenfelt – junior AI developer with a focus on machine learning.
Softhouse acquired the Luleå-based consultancy Neava at the end of 2022, and has since grown rapidly in the region. The local office now includes over 20 people, with the goal of doubling that number within a couple of years.
“Norrbotten is in the midst of a transformation where digitalization is key to sustainable growth. With our new colleagues, we’re boosting our ability to help companies and organizations build smart digital solutions – and this is just the beginning,” says David Granström.
A key part of Softhouse’s offering is helping businesses explore and leverage the potential of AI and machine learning. By combining technical expertise with a strong understanding of user needs, Softhouse delivers solutions that are not just smart, but truly useful in everyday operations.
Softhouse currently has around 300 employees across 10 offices in Sweden and Bosnia, serving both private and public sector clients. In Luleå, the focus is on long-term partnerships and being a grounded digitalization expert – an approach that aligns well with the needs and culture of the region.
