This is a case study of how we work with digital transformation in industry and nearshore software development to replace manual workflows with scalable systems for quality control, traceability, and compliance.

 

The challenge

Our client, a global provider of critical energy infrastructure, faced a significant operational risk: business-critical quality data was managed across hundreds of decentralized Excel files. This fragmented approach made it difficult to get a unified view of data, limited analysis capabilities, and created gaps in the traceability required for audits and advanced quality control.

This situation is common in industrial organizations, where critical processes have evolved over time and Excel-based solutions have become a bottleneck for both quality and growth.

 

The solution

We developed the iQDC platform (Integrated Quality Definition and Control) — a unified digital structure that replaces manual workflows with a more reliable and traceable way of managing quality data. The platform collects, structures, and validates data throughout the production lifecycle, enabling better control and clearer decision-making. It acts as a centralized quality system where data is gathered, validated, and made available in real time for both operational and strategic decisions.
