The challenge

Managing modern workplaces requires seamless integration between software, hardware, and security.

In this case, the challenge was to create a unified system capable of managing resources — such as desks, meeting rooms, and parking — for over 10,000 enterprise customers. At the same time, the solution needed to operate in real time and remain stable in globally distributed environments, where both users and devices are spread across multiple markets.

This challenge is common in organizations where the workplace has become more flexible, but supporting systems have not evolved at the same pace.

 

The solution

As a long-term partner, we have developed a connected IoT ecosystem that synchronizes workplace resources globally and manages hardware in real time.

The platform brings together booking, devices, and user experience into a single system — enabling continuous control and optimization of the workplace.

  • Custom hardware development for IoT devices: We have developed and currently maintain three different smart devices running on custom Linux-based operating systems and RTOS.
  • Platform and system integration with calendars and services: The solution integrates with leading calendar providers such as Microsoft and Google, managing over 200,000 resources globally.
  • Real-time visualization and user experience: Integrated 3D maps, wayfinding, and resource search make it easier for employees to navigate and use the workplace efficiently.
  • Faster delivery with AI-supported development: AI-assisted development enables faster feature releases while maintaining high performance and system stability.

The platform acts as a real-time system where data from devices, bookings, and users is collected and used to manage the workplace more effectively.
