Softhouse and its portfolio company Ifrågasätt win major contract with Sveriges Radio
We’re proud to announce that, together with one of our portfolio companies, Ifrågasätt, we’ve won the public procurement to deliver moderation services for Sveriges Radio – a contract covering parts of the moderation of content on their social media channels. The agreement spans two years, with the option for a two-year extension.
This is an important mission at a time when media organizations need to focus their efforts on journalism – not on managing threats, hate speech, and rule violations on social platforms. Ifrågasätt will support the editorial teams by ensuring that Sveriges Radio’s social media channels are used in line with their community guidelines. As a trusted partner with proven delivery capabilities, deep technical expertise, and strong understanding of the media landscape, Ifrågasätt is well positioned to take on the challenge.
“We’re incredibly happy to see Ifrågasätt continue its impressive growth journey. This is a clear testament to their business acumen and a technical platform that meets a real market need,” says Sara Mårtensson, Group CEO at Softhouse.
The Ifrågasätt team has extensive experience working with some of Sweden’s largest publishers, including Bonnier News, Dagens Nyheter, Expressen, TV4, Stampen Media, and Göteborgs-Posten. Today, the company operates in seven countries and also delivers services globally – including to the United Nations. This collaboration with Sveriges Radio marks another step towards making content moderation more scalable, effective, and precise.
“We are very proud to gain the trust of Sveriges Radio – one of Sweden’s most important media institutions. This further strengthens our position as a leading provider of moderation services for journalistic content, both in Sweden and internationally,” says Gustav Hjärn, CEO of Ifrågasätt.
