Fingerprint Recognition Precise Biometrics

Precise Biometrics + Softhouse – A Journey Toward Scalable AI and Deeper Insights

Precise Biometrics has long been a frontrunner in biometric technology and machine learning. As early as the 2000s, they began exploring the possibilities of AI. But to meet the demands of the future and continue leading the industry, a shift toward next-generation solutions was needed—with a strong focus on deep learning and scalable innovation.Softhouse became a strategic partner in 2021. Together, we have built a mature deep learning framework that enables faster development, greater reusability, and more efficient data management. We have automated key parts of the AI pipeline and created an infrastructure that opens new opportunities for advanced applications like spoofing detection and synthetic image generation.
But the journey didn’t stop there. Through close collaboration and a flexible team setup across Sweden and Sarajevo, we also helped Precise Biometrics to:
  • Rapidly integrate their solutions with leading access management systems
  • Successfully transform their products from on-premises to cloud-based solutions
  • Accelerate the path from customer request to final product with a unified development team
  • Helped develop and maintain one of the leading visitor management systems in the Nordics, delivering a robust and scalable solution that continues to support secure and efficient access across a wide range of facilities
Results:
  • A scalable, reusable, and future-proof AI framework
  • New application areas strengthening biometric security
  • A faster, more flexible development process aligned with business needs
  • Enhanced innovation capacity through mentorship in AI and deep learning projects
We code the future – one innovation at a time.

  • DeepLearning

Deep Learning is a subset of machine learning that uses artificial neural networks to analyze large amounts of data and recognize patterns. It's commonly used in areas like image and speech recognition, autonomous vehicles, and advanced prediction.

  • Machine Learning

Machine Learning is a branch of AI where computers learn from data to make decisions or predictions without being explicitly programmed. It’s used in everything from recommendation systems to image recognition and predictive analytics.

  • Data Engineering

Data Engineering is about collecting, structuring, and preparing data so it can be used effectively in analytics and AI models. It forms a crucial foundation for building reliable, scalable, and automated data-driven solutions.

  • Synthetic Data Generation

Synthetic Data Generation refers to creating artificial, yet realistic, data that can be used to train and test AI models. It is often used when real data is scarce, sensitive, or expensive to collect—enabling faster and safer AI development.
