The digitization group, Softhouse, intensifies its investments in the north and recruits David Granström as CEO for operations in Luleå
Just over a year ago, the Luleå company Neava was acquired by Softhouse, experts in digitization, software development, and design. The company is now recruiting David Granström as the new CEO for its operations in Luleå and continues its aggressive investment in establishing new customer collaborations in both the private and public sectors.
– Our decision to invest in Luleå has proven to be fortunate and well-timed considering everything that is currently happening in Norrbotten and Västerbotten and the needs for digitization that these investments bring. Now we are very happy to welcome David to the role of CEO of Softhouse in Luleå. His long experience with digitization and building strong brands makes him perfect to lead our business in a period of strong growth in Sweden’s currently hottest country, says Sara Mårtensson, CEO of Softhouse.
The Softhouse group has more than 300 employees spread to over 10 offices in Sweden and Bosnia and has customers such as Telenor, Skånetrafiken and Metria. In Luleå, there are currently around 20 people, but the aim is to double the workforce within a couple of years thanks to the increased demand for various digitization solutions.
– To be able to take over such a well-functioning business as Softhouse Neava and now lead the company into the next step is very exciting. With the entire group’s competence behind us, we have very good conditions to establish Softhouse as a strong digitization partner in Luleå and the surrounding area, and there is also a strong demand for our unique competence, which feels very good, says David Granström.
Former CEO Johan Hedlund remains working in the company during a transition period to support the new management.
