The software company Softhouse strengthens its offering in design, communication and user experience when the full-service agency Milou Communication joins. Softhouse’s solid technical competence is strengthened with Milou’s strength in design, communication and user experience. Milou Communication currently has about 25 employees in the offices in Karlskrona and Kalmar. Milou Communication now joins as one of the companies in the Group and will continue to operate as its own brand.
– After several years of collaboration in various projects, it is very fun that Milou Communication becomes part of Softhouse. Milou has a well-established and strong brand in design and user experience that we know will complement and strengthen our existing delivery in software development. This merger is in line with the demand we see from our customers in their digitalisation journey, says Anna Bäcklin, CEO of Softhouse.
Milou Communication currently has almost 25 employees in the towns of Karlskrona and Kalmar and has a turnover of approximately SEK 20 million. Today they have customers such as Kraftringen, Affärsverken, Växjö Kommun and Telenor. The four owners in Milou will continue to work further and look forward to being able to find synergies by being part of a group structure.

Softhouse and Milou’s customer offerings complement each other well and we share a similar culture and have common values. Through a merger, we are convinced that we can create an even more attractive workplace. With joint efforts, we will be able to contribute to Sweden’s Digitization Strategy where we want to promote digitization in society. The merger was completed on May 6, 2021, when Softhouse acquired Milou Communication.
